The next new media I suggest that should be created is outreach apps on social media or text with visuals. Outreach social media apps can help media creators get more of a feel on what their consumers want to see and suggestions for improvement. There should me more applications popularized that focus on earthly causes, small businesses and more. Collectively we should strive to create systems to support the planet because there is limited time to fix climate change. Pictures are worth a 1,000 words and I think it would be more appealing if there's an article with very useful information that is tedious to read, visuals should be in the background.
I like your idea to create social media outreach apps that are dedicated to a particular cause or purpose. It would be easier and more efficient for small business or non-for profit organizations to be able to directly upload and share, as well as allow others to participate by posting their own content and comments. In terms of small business, I noticed that social media apps such as Instagram have added a feature called “Instagram shopping” where users are able to directly purchase from the app. Though this feature is helpful, I believe your idea can possibly take it to the next level. It would be more convenient and efficient to have a specific app that is dedicated to small business(es) that allow users to interact with the brand as well as conduct purchases.
ReplyDeleteI love this idea. Sometimes, people just aren't in the mood to read. Pictures are able to convey messages in a way words can't. Time is valuable and picture messages will allow us to quickly process the main idea.
ReplyDeleteThis is a great idea, that's why Instagram and several other social media platforms became popular because their heavily use of visuals and pictures which attract viewers. Focusing on small business allow new opportunities for both the small business and users as majority of ads on television, radio, and online are from large companies and corporations.
